Alex Cracks Me Up!

Whenever Alex gets frustrated or annoyed at Sydney or Cameron he always says..."Go away Syney (or Camra), go do your homewook!" The other day he tells Cameron..."Go away Camra...go do your homework"

Cameron says "I finished already"

Alex says "Go away Camra...go do Syney's homewook!"

Yesterday I heard Eli crying from the other room and came to see what happened.  Alex was nowhere to be found.  I finally found him hiding his face in his ball pit in the same room where Eli was.  I asked him what happened and with a very guilty look on his face he tells me: "I hit Eyi!"  I told him that we don't hit and he needed to go in time out.  He was soooo mad!!!  He started throwing books at his door and then he really told me off!  :)  He says crying through the door..."I GOING NIGHT NIGHT!"  and he climbs into his crib and continues to cry.  I couldn 't help but laugh when I walked in after his whole 2 minutes of time out was up.  :)

When it all began!

It was 4 years ago this month (Feb 2006) that our family began our amazing journey together.  Ron needed a babysitter for his 7 year old boy, Cameron every day after school.  I was going to school in the mornings and home with Sydney, who was 8,  in the afternoons.  It was perfect.  I decided to take the job.  I had no idea that this one decision to help out a fellow member of my ward who needed me would change the course of my entire life.  At the time I was planning and applying to dental hygiene school.  I was almost finished with my prerequisites and had interviewed with a school in Provo and had been accepted.  I had even sent in a $1000 deposit to hold my spot for the following fall semester.  Then Ron came along.  :)  I began watching Cameron every day and spending time with him and Sydney doing all kinds of fun things.  We went to Disneyland a lot and enjoyed our time together.  Then Ron invited Sydney and I to go with him and Cameron to The Discovery Science Center one Saturday.  After that Ron and I became fast friends.  We just clicked.  We started doing stuff together with the kids as well every Saturday and they would eat dinner at our house most nights after Ron got home from work.  We started "officially" dating in September 2006.  

First comes LOVE!!!

 (We were engaged in November 2006!)

 

Then comes MARRIAGE!!!

(We were sealed for time and all eternity on March 9, 2007.  Life couldn't get any better!!!)

Then comes...ALEXANDER DAVID (born December 1, 2007)

Then comes... Eli Ronald
(born August 16, 2009)
