Soccer

Like I said in my earlier post...Sydney's passion is Soccer!  She is so fun to watch.  You can tell from the pictures to follow, she get's completely engrossed in the game and tries to DESTROY the other team.  :)  I love that I am able to be at every single game and watch Sydney kill it!!!  Her team this year is undefeated and I know a lot of that has to do with Sydney's amazing skills!

Getting Air!

My FAVORITE pic!  Look at that face!  She's totally giving it all she's got!!!  Go Syd!

Bad call ref!

Sydney Bryn is 13! October 12, 2010

Wow!  I officially have a teenager.  Luckily, Sydney is one of a kind.  She definitely has her teenager attitude moments, but mostly she's a super sweet, respectful, down to earth young woman.  One of Sydney's passions is soccer.  She loves playing forward, but mostly plays center half. She is a super fast runner, so her coaches like her to play all over the field.  Syd is super competitive and always works super hard to win.  She always tries her hardest in all that she does.  She is also a lover of fashion.  Anything to do with hair, make-up, clothing and shoes is right up her alley.  She is always so put-together.  People comment all of the time to me how adorable she looks.  She really knows how to put together an outfit, even on a budget.  I even ask her advice on clothing and accessories myself.  She has a great eye for fashion.  Sydney is also super friendly and kind.  She is always smiling when out in public and people are just drawn to her.  She has a sweet spirit about her and always makes people feel good.  People are always telling me what a sweet, friendly, fun, kind, happy person Sydney is. You can usually catch Sydney eating chips and salsa, quesadillas, mac & cheese, or salads.  She's kind of a picky eater most days but loves to help out in the kitchen, unless it's doing dishes.  :)  She is not a big fan of cleaning that's for sure.  She loves to play games with our family and go to Disneyland as often as she can. I love that Sydney is always honest and up front with me.  I love that Sydney loves her brothers and is willing to help with them (most of the time.)  I love that they look up to her and that she is their example to follow.  I love that Sydney loves the gospel and tries her hardest to be good and do what is right.  I love that she wants to follow our Savior's example and accept and love all those she comes in contact with.  I love that Sydney is always so respectful of her elders and loves all people.  She truly is an example to me and I love her so much.  Happy 13th Birthday Sydo!!! You're the BEST!!!  I love you!

On our way to Syd's birthday dinner:

We went to Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour for Sydney's Birthday Dinner.  We went with our family, Grandma, Grandpa, and Cheyenne (Sydney's best friend.)

Adorable watch from Grandma and Grandpa

Not too excited about the "Teach yourself how to play piano" book!

"Why are you giving me my old ipod?"  Her ipod broke, so we took it to the Apple Store and they were able to fix it.

Realizing she's getting a brand NEW ipod touch.  I guess Alex gets to inherit her old one for his birthday.  :)

with Grandma...ADORABLE!

with Cheyenne...Best Buds!

Funny Face!

We had to have an actual birthday cake at home.  Chocolate Cherry Cake...a Family Favorite!

Eli's Mullet: Before and After

Before:

After:

It just kept growing and growing and growing.  I just didn't want to cut his baby hair.  I refused to let my baby grow up.  But, I guess when the mullet starts touching the collar, it's time to cut it off.  :)  Now my baby boy is all grown up.

Eli Ronald turns 1! August 16, 2010

I can't believe a whole year has gone by since my baby was born.  He is growing up way too fast.  Eli is the easiest and most difficult child that I've had.  :)  He is super easy going, yet super independent.  He doesn't want to be held.  He knows exactly what he wants and he will go to any lengths to get it.  He holds his own with his big brother Alex.  He is becoming a super cuddly bear.  He loves to hug and give kisses.  But only for a minute and then he's off doing his own thing.  He only cries if he's hurt.  He sleeps through the night and has since 2 months old.  He loves to laugh and always has a smile on his face.  He imitates everything Alexander does...I mean EVERYTHING!  He absolutely loves is big brothers and sister.  He follows them all around everywhere.  His favorite thing to do is follow Sydney or Cameron into their rooms before they can close their door.  He runs super fast.  :)  He loves grapes, strawberries, carrots and pasta.  He loves turkey, cheese, apples and of course chocolate.  I think his all time favorite though is yogurt.  He would eat yogurt morning, noon and night if we let him.  He loves to say Bye and wave to everyone.  He is super friendly and will go up and hug perfect strangers.  He has absolutely no fear and loves to climb, jump and RUN!  He loves to play chase and hide and go seek with Alex.  He loves the outdoors and screams when we bring him in.  He loves to get covered in dirt and eat it too. Another of his favorites is reading books.  He will sit on my lap forever just letting me read to him.  He likes to turn the pages faster than I can read but he will sit there for as long as I let him.  He grabs a book, gets close to me, turns around and backs up til he is sitting on my lap.  It's the cutest thing ever.  He also loves animals.  He's by far the biggest animal lover of our family.  He now sticks out his tongue and pants every time he sees a dog.  He will go up to any strangers dog and try to pet it.  He loves the petting zoo and anything that has to do with animals.  Eli is such a love.  He is tender yet strong-willed.  He's a super tough teddy bear. I love him with all my heart.  Happy Birthday to my little "bugsie!"  I love you!

The Party:  We went to Central Park in RSM with our family, grandma, grandpa, Anne, Dale and Aleah.

Alex even got to open a present!

Cupcake Time:

ALL DONE!!!
